  1. @TishRRollings that condition is SO rare next to the danger of dehydration that mentioning it is not even justified. the title says "wilderness survival" not "frat party hazing survival".

  2. @crabtrap not true if your pee it clear it means you might be drowning your self by flushing the good nutrients (potassium being the main one ) as well as the bad….my rule of thumb for pee color is almost clear with slight tint of yellow.

  3. @Nymfipapukaija Might also been something else..

  4. I haven't peed for 3 days. You think I is normal?

  5. I was terribly dehydrated yesterday even though I drinked something like every half an hour, I then couldn't sleep because it was very hot. I slowly started getting weaker and weaker to the point where I couldn't even get up to drink. Now I keep wondering: How the heck did I get up today morning? Anyways it was like explained: Headache, dizziness, weakness… And in the morning pee was a darker color than normal. I am not sure if I even saw stars or hypnagogic images before falling asleep.

  6. ITS VERY DANGERS sorry for spelling i was typing fast lol

  7. iv been in the 20% honestly im a diabetic and diabetics cant be in the heat but more than a couple of hours if that i had to go to the hospital several times and once they had to give me severvarl IVS

  8. good rule of thumb:

pissin' clear , have no fear .

  9. LOL that will get you there, I also drink alot of beer but drink water after that and Himilayan salt so I don't suffer too much.

  10. dude, i think im dehydrated. I went walking with my step dad in the 90deg sun and half way through an overwhelming feeling of fatigue/dizzyness occured i still feel a lil under the weather(3hrs later) but i am drinking water like no other and starting to pee more and the feelings are fadeing away, slow but are still fadeing. I experienced the same thing last year at work in the garage.

here are some truly helpful facts of dehydration….

1 to 5 percent: thirst, vague discomfort, lack of appetite, flushed skin, impatience, sleepiness, nausea.

6 to 10 percent: dizziness, headache, labored breathing, no salivation, indistinct, speech, unable to walk.

11 to 20 percent: delirium, swollen tongue, unable to swallow, dim vision, numb shrivelled skin..

later stages result in total muscular weakness and severely impaired mental capacity….. ur pretty much screwed at this point

if ur 20 PERCENT DEHYDRATED UR ALREADY PRETTY MUCH DEAD AND WONT HAVE THE STRENGTH TO GO ANYWHERE TO LOOK FOR WATER. ITS ALREADY TOO LATE AT THAT POINT..
